These beautifully handcrafted sterling silver pendants can be worn as a broach as well to give you versatility with your Jewellery. The designer Jo Luping is renowned for her ceramics, which capture New Zealand’s coastal pastoral landforms and New Zealand’s indigenous flora and fauna.
A single koru is fossilized on a ceramic tile. A cabbage tree captured on film – preserved in resin and framed in silver – becomes a tiny piece of wearable art. Her medium may shift and evolve, but her muse is constant, landscape. Her art is like the environment it reflects – robust and fragile.
